4th Istanbul Graduate Colloquium in Middle Eastern & Ottoman Studies

The Colloquium welcomes papers related to contemporary Middle East, Islamic, and Ottoman Studies from any historical period, including interdisciplinary approaches originating from history, history of arts, architecture, literature, religious studies, political science, sociology, and anthropology.
Please submit proposals that include approx. 250-word abstract with a tentative title, short CV, and the name of the proposed discussant. Proposals may be submitted for individual papers or pre-organized panels.
All submissions will be evaluated by a blind peer review process. The organizing committee will make an effort to match presenters of accepted papers with the most suitable discussants.
